The Countdown has Begun!!

SO! I am to excited that as of December 18th-ish, my sister will again be a Texas citizen, and Ryan of course, too. They are about to start a new road in life and while they may be anxious about it, everything is going to end up just fine, and selfishly, I am just tickled that she will be closer than just a phone call away!!!

Family, Fun, & Caos

The holidays are always fun, interesting, exciting, memorable and yet sometimes bring out the bah humbug in all of us. Thanksgiving has already come and gone and luckily it brought the cold weather, so that we could bring out all the wonderful holiday sweaters, JK! But it is true!

We had a great thanksgiving surrounded by our wonderful family. We ate, drank, played games, and hung out in the soon to be infamous BARN!

While the holidays are upon us we tend to reflect on life, family and the use of our time. Sometimes we are pleased with what we have done and at the same time it makes us realize what is truly important in life, and these are the things that are irreplaceable and you can't run to the store and get another when it is broke or lost. I am talking about family & friends, the people in our lives that have made us who we are. I hope to finish up this year with great memories and stories to tell in the years to come! (i.e. "I don't care who you are that's funny.")

Wishing all a Wonderful Holiday Season.

Prayer Request

Wow! Sometimes in life God just thinks we all need a wake up call to get us back on track as to what is truly important in life. We forget sometimes that we are not promised an easy and perfect life, and that there will be struggles and bumps along the way. We know that these times are ones that make us who we are and help us grow into unique individuals, but in the moment sometimes we feel lost and betrayed. About a week ago my mother-in-law had some test and the found what could be breast cancer, they are not certain but last Friday she went and had a biopsy. We should find out the results by Wednesday, I just ask that she be in your thoughts and prayers, as I can't even imagine what she must be feeling. God is great and we must not lose faith in what he has promised.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Gal. 6:9
