Wish there was an update....

I have found myself with not much to be bloggin' about these days! We are so ready for the holiday season!! Sean has been in the Grand Canyon for the last 4 days and will get back tonight LATE, I can't wait to hear his stories and see pictures. We finished up our first season of soccer and even though Mr. Major wanted to sign up, not sure if this is something we will sign up for again anytime soon. He would enjoy maybe ther first 2-3 minutes and then POOF it was over and he sat on the bench the rest of the game! I have been watching my sweet niece on Tuesdays and that is so fun...helps remind me of all the baby stauff, that after 4 years you so easily forget! Hope Everyone that may read this have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Blog??? I kinda forgot about you!

Not really sure where the last month (plus) went!

This month has been awesome; we have defiantly gone to new levels!
There have been so many GREAT things going on; oh the JOY’s of life. Our most recent news is that we have decided to adopt! Yes, we have finished the application and have a week until the process is complete and then we will WAIT! Wait until a sweet girl will choose us to be the mommy and daddy to an angel… We have been praying about it and this is totally where God has brought us, we are so excited to see the journey unfold!

My niece is now 6 weeks or so old and is still so tiny! She is staying awake longer now and starting to make little noises. I got to spend the morning with her and it was so fun!


Major is playing soccer and we have our good days and bad, but I think for the most part he has fun (not sure if we will sign up again anytime soon?) He is growing up way to fast, he such a big boy!

My Mom and Dad are going to New York next week for their 30th wedding anniversary, SO happy for them!

Life is good, all of it, because no matter what God is there at the mountain tops and in the valleys!

My sister had her baby, all are well and healthy!! Major is super excited about "His Kaisley" and so ready to be a big cousin and show her the ropes!!

Life...

Sometimes there are bends and curves in the road that we never expect! Sean and I have been on a curvy, bendy road for the last 3 1/2 years! For anyone that doesn't know we have been trying for baby #2, and the hardest part is when your 4 year old ask when does he get to be a big brother! We have had two miscarriages in the past three years and only tried infertility treatment for three months and decided that is just not for us. So that leaves us with lots of prayers and answered questions and brings us to where we are today....

Over the past ten months we have been praying about adopting a child, we have always talked about it, but now it is more of a reality then a thought! There has been a lot of growth in our hearts over these last ten months and Sean and I are moving forward in the process. Now of course we are just getting started and there are so many options out there…using an agency, writing letters and doing it without an agency…lots of things to consider, and we are open to whatever fork in the road God has planned for us! I feel that God will bless us and that He will reveal which path is for us! We have had the opportunity to talk to family and friends that have all traveled the adoption path, and time and time again we are told what a blessing it is!

We just ask for prayers and blessings!

Summer

Wow! We have had a great summer so far...

This year for the fourth we went to Tennessee to see Sean's family, it was great! We spent all day on their house boat and ended it with the firework show.

Well all three were great! Not a 100% country music fan, but we had a blast and the music took me back to my roots! There were a few set backs with the stadium not finished and them just not being prepaired for the crowd... All in all it was a blast!

Major is four...My baby is FOUR...What??

This May we are celebrating Major's fourth birthday!! We had his party this past Saturday and he had so much fun and got too many goodies!! Here are some pic's from his party...






His Birthday is this weekend and we will be at the Lake, we will celerate his birthday and his Aunt KK's!

Easter...YES, I am just adding Easter to my blog!

We had such a great Easter at our house. We went to church with some friends to the Saterday night service and cooked out that evening. Sunday morning we had the morning to reflect on what the day is about...

We enjoyed breakfast and then we had a scavenger hunt to find Major's Easter basket...we had so much fun watching him!

While in San Antonio we visited the Zoo and of course The Alamo...Major had fun learning about battle at The Alamo!

Sea World

In April we went on vacation with some friends and had a great time...despite the rain!! We went to Sea World and it rained most of the day, but finally cleared up, we had fun in the rain and the sunshine! Here are some of our pictures....

Here is the first born this spring...she is a mix with our longhorn...so cute!!

We will be an aunt and uncle to a little girl!

My sister found out she is haveing a girl!!! To perfect for her and Ryan. Major is so ready to be a BIG cousin!!

Time for an update...umm....

Oh my ... There has been so much going on but I am not sure what to Blog about? I celebrated my 28th birthday and that was fun! We have been doing alot of home projects. Would love for the weather to make up its mind and stay warm! We are going to Sea World the weekend after Easter and are so excited...it will be Major's first time to go. We had a baby shower for my dear friend Megan, who is due April 22nd, but may have a early visitor.
Most exciting news is that my sister finds out today if she will have a girl or boy!! I think they want a girl, but of course will be so excited excited either way. Major thinks they will have a baby girl too...it is so funny that he actually contimplates it and that is his answer everytime!
Well thats about it for now, this next month will probably be more eventful with pictures to post as well.

I read this verse the other day and it is just speaking to me! What a way to remind us, WHAT THINGS are we chasing and why! There is so much more to life then the stereotypical "successful" person, and this I have to constantly remind myself...

Valentine...Vacation

Ok so we went camping for the weekend and it just so happened to fall on Valentines weekend. We went to the Wichita Mountains...it was beautiful! We had so much fun and wonder why we don't do this more often. When we were on the hike, closer to the top it started to hail on us which I thought was pretty cool. We were reminded to pay attention when we rounded the corner and saw a not so happy looking Bison right there. We also ate at the best whole in the wall place saterday night...it was so good and we were sooooo full! Here are some pics of the weekend...

1. I have tendancies to be really shy!
2. I think about everything all the time, it is a curse.
3. I have two of the most fabulous boys in my life. (hubby and son)
4. I love being amazed by the blessing God "chooses" to bless me with.
5. I love sweets, used to be ice cream and now it is really anything, I can't keep them in the house, I have no self control.
6. Family is the most important thing!
7. I desperatly want more babies...I am learning that I am just not in control of that!
8. I love projects....I am constantly creating a to do list for things around the house, but lucky for Sean, I enjoy the hard work and the satisfaction when I have finished!
9. I think God has a plan for daughters, sisters and mothers to have a rocky road growing up, it creates a base for an amazing friendship when you grow up.
10. I have a love/hate relationship with my dogs...Marley and Me, ya that describes my dogs!
11. I love to be able to laugh and cry in the same conversation.
12. I desire to grow in my faith and be better about getting involved at church.
13. I enjoy workout class so much that I get a tad depressed when I don't get to go, and I go for more then just a beating, I enjoy the girls in the class.
14. I hate that I am not as outgoing as I desire to be...I worry too much about what people will think.
15. I am totally excited to be an aunt...for two reasons. 1. To spoil the baby rotten and send it home. 2. To watch Katie and Ryan grow as a mommy and daddy!
16. I love planning and throwing parties for others. I like all the details.
17. I get stressed out alot about this mommy thing...really am I cut out for this.
18. I love that my hubby doesn't mind helping out with the chores. We are a Team!
19. I love the outdoors. Woodson, Barn, Camping, Pool time in the summer, dining on the patio, the Beach...just to name a few.
20. My bestest friends are all so different.
21. Major is such a blessing and a miracle, really, I have took for granted at times.
22. I love Christmas Eve and it is a tradition I hope never changes.
23. I get scared at night when Sean is not home and Major always sleeps with me when he is gone.
24. Sunrises are a reminder to me that God is there for me and available at ALL times, what an amazing Love!
25. I never do these types of things, but thought to give it a try!

This weekends adventure...Tacky Prom

This weekend we were invited to a "Tacky Prom" gathering...So we collected the courage, got dressed and had so much fun!!

My Conversation with my 3 year old this morning....

Major: "Mommy, I really want a baby sister!"
Me: "Well, me too, but who do we have to ask?"
Major: "God...but he is taking to long, mom, I really want a baby brother or sister, you know right now..."
Me: ...nothing...
Major: "Mom see that pink, over there...that is the angels, look over there too!"

What a precious and wonderful morning!!

Most Exciting News....

Sean and I will be an aunt and uncle in August!!! And Major will have a playmate...

Simple Update...

Well Christmas has come and gone, the new year has began and for the Moore family it has been a roller coster, but it is smoothing out, now that we are almost 15 days into the new year!!

This weekend we put more fish into Pop's pond, and Major just thought it was the coolest, although his idea of fishing doesn't require as much patience as the real thing! Here is a video of the transfer...
